DE-ICING - Caliber® M1000/M2000, NC3000, MeltDown^TM, MAG

Enhancing Performance While Inhibiting Corrosion:

Caliber® M1000 is a blend of Caliber® de-icer with 30% MgCI2.  Caliber® de-icer is derived from corn carbohydrates and is specifically engineered to enhance the eutectic point, antiicing properties and viscosity of the MgCI2. Caliber® de-icer inhibits corrosion and suppresses crystal formation within the MgCI2. While Caliber® de-icer increases the friction coefficient of the MgCI2 it also aids in the prevention of the "slickness" period sometimes experienced when using common chloride brines.  Caliber® M1000 provides a variety of applications (anti-icing, de-icing, pre-wetting) in one environmentally friendly, cost effective DE-ICING product.

Engineering Performance For Salt/Sand Pre-treatment:

The use of Caliber® M2000 allows for the treatment of the entire stockpile as it is being built, or whenever it is most convenient.   Treating the entire stockpile prior to roadway application means that pre-wetting saddle tanks are no longer necessary.  Treating a stockpile with 33 litres (8 gallons) of Caliber® M2000/tonne of salt greatly enhances the performance of the salt,especially at colder temperatures.  The increased performance, along with the reduced bounce and scatter experienced when using a wetted solid, translates into a reduction of material required.   Furthermore, a stockpile treated with Caliber® M2000 will be free flowing regardless of temperature.

NC-3000 is safe enough to use on plants as well as agricultural vegetation and is non-corrosive to all common metals.  The unique features and benefits of NC-3000 make it an ideal alternative to traditional chloride salt de-icing chemicals in those applications in which corrosion or environmental damage is a concern.   It is non-toxic and non-hazardous to plant and animal life, and in the environment NC-3000 is biodegradable.

MeltDown^TM - The latest Magnesium Chloride winter solution.:

  Fully PNS approved, MeltDown ^TM is available with various corrosion inhibitor packages.  It is an excellent, economical anti-icing or onboard pre-wetting agent.  MeltDown^TM is less corrosive and less toxic than sodium and calcium based brineswith a superior meltingcapacity.

MAG - Mother Natures Natural Deicer...That Works!!!

MAG - No other ice melter on the market today can compare with MAG flake and pellet.   It's highly effective, yet safe for the environment.   MAG out-performs other ice melters and works fast. In tests ranging from -5 to -25 C, within 15 minutes of application MAG melted twice as much ice as rock salt.  Also, it's safer for the environment, less corrosive and won't leave damaging residues!
